Espresso Avellino, in the heart of downtown Bellingham, has been existing in various forms on Railroad Avenue for nearly 15 years. It's been run by current owner Pat Blakeslee for about 7 years now. She is one of the kindest and coolest business owners in the county. We make excellent coffee, our bakery is in-house and runs at full steam, we have free wi-fi, daily newspapers including the NY Times, and our packed cafe is a testament to our service. Our approach is friendliness before snobbery, and a fair price for an above average product. Thanks for the support, and if we haven't had the pleasure of meeting you, come on down.
It's true! As of October, 2010, our new coffeehouse near Whatcom Community College has opened. 4260 Cordata Parkway is the address. The space is bigger than our downtown location and will offer up a fine option for excellent espresso and atmosphere in a sea of box stores and traffic. We are planning to cater specifically to the medical and professional community in the area as well as, of course, the student and faculty body of Whatcom Community College.
